Lindy hop tekniikka, kevät 2026 / technique, spring 2026

KURSSIN PERUSTIEDOT

Esitietovaatimuksena vähintään lindy hop jatkotaso (12x90min) tai vastaavat taidot. Lindy hop tanssitekniikka-kurssille voit osallistua, kun jatkotason kurssilla opetellut asiat (esim. swingout, vasteet, rytmissä pysyminen) ovat jo hallussa. Kurssin tavoitteena on, että kaikki ryhmän jäsenet pääsevät uudelle tasolle tanssijoina. Valmentajien vahvuuksia ovat vienti-seuraaminen ja perustekniikan opettaminen. Tämä kurssi on ennen kaikkea tekniikkakurssi, jolle voi osallistua edistyneemmätkin tanssijat, jotka haluavat hioa tanssitekniikan timanttiseen kuntoon.

Kurssilla on käytössä parinvaihtorinki.

Kurssin opetuskieli on suomi. Tarvittaessa osa opetuksesta englanniksi.

Aika: Kurssilla on 14 x 60 min valmennuskertaa maanantaisin klo 17:30-18:30 aikavälillä 5.1. - 20.4.2026. Huom! Ei opetusta hiihtolomalla 16.2., eikä pääsiäisenä 6.4.2026.

Paikka: Tanssiseura Comets, sali 2, kauppakeskus Tripla, P4 kerros Down Under, Fredikanterassi 1, Helsinki. Katso tarvittaessa saapumisohjeet.

Hinta: 159 €. Alennus opiskelijoille, eläkeläisille ja työttömille on -20 €. Lähetä kuva alennustodistuksestasi osoitteeseen alennus@comets.fi ennen kurssin alkua.

Kursseille osallistumisen edellytyksenä on, että Cometsin jäsenmaksu 25 € kuluvalle vuodelle on maksettu. Jäsenmaksu laskutetaan erikseen.

Ilmoittautuminen: Voit ilmoittautua kurssille yksin tai parin kanssa. Päästämme kurssille yksin ilmoittautuneita jonosta ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä siten, että viejiä ja seuraajia on suunnilleen tasamäärä, ja parin kanssa ilmoittautuneet sen jälkeen, kun jälkimmäinen parista on ilmoittautunut.

Kurssipaikka on henkilökohtainen, eikä sitä voi luovuttaa toiselle henkilölle. Kurssin järjestäjän toimesta vahvistettu kurssipaikka on sitova, eikä sitä voi enää peruuttaa.

🇬🇧 COURSE DESCRIPTION

As a prerequisite for taking part in the course, you should have at least Lindy Hop level 2 - improvers level (12x90min) or similar dance experience. You can participate in the dance technique course when you have a good grasp of the basics of Lindy hop, such as the swingout, stretch, and keeping in rhythm. The goal of this course is to take your Lindy hop dancing to the next level. The instructors' strengths lie in teaching leading and following, as well as fundamental technique. This course is primarily a technique course, which can also be attended by more advanced dancers who want to polish their dance technique to perfection.

We will rotate partners during the lessons.

The teaching will be in Finnish, but instructions can also be given in English if needed.

Time: The course has 14 x 60 min lessons on Mondays between 5th of January and 20th of April 2026 from 5.30 PM to 6.30 PM. Please note! No lessons during skiing holiday 16th of February nor Easter 6th April 2026.

Location: Dance Club Comets, space 2, Mall of Tripla, P4 floor Down Under, Fredikanterassi 1, Helsinki. Please see arrival instructions.

Price: 159 € / person. Discount for students, pensioners and unemployed -20 €. Send your proof of discount status to alennus@comets.fi before the course starts.

You also need to pay Comets membership fee 25 € if you haven’t paid it yet for the current calendar year. It will be sent to you as a separate invoice.

Registration: You can register for the course with or without a partner. We let people without a partner from the queue in the registration order so that there are about equal number of followers and leaders, and those with registration partner after both of them have registered themselves. 

A course spot confirmed by the course organizer is binding and cannot be canceled. The spot on the course is personal and it cannot be given to another person.
