KURSSIN PERUSTIEDOT

Kilparyhmät on tarkoitettu kilpailemisesta kiinnostuneille tai tavoitteellisesti harjoitteleville tanssipareille. Kilparyhmät ovat 5-7 tanssiparin pienryhmiä, joissa tanssiparit saavat henkilökohtaista palautetta, sekä mahdollisuuden kehittyä motivoituneessa seurassa. Lue lisää siitä, miksi kannattaa aloittaa kilpaileminen.

Fuskun kilparyhmässä on pääosin yhteistä ohjausta, jonka lisäksi parit saavat myös henkilökohtaista palautetta.

Kilparyhmiin voi hakea sitten, kun sinulla on vähintään kyseisen lajin jatkotason tanssitaidot hallussa. Uudet kilpaparit mahtuvat yleensä hyvin mukaan kilparyhmiin. Ryhmässä ei ole käytössä parinvaihtoa. Valmennus on pääasiassa suomeksi, tarvittaessa myös englanniksi.

Valmentajat: Timo Huhtinen ja Helena Metsä

Aika: Kurssilla on kuusi (6 x 90 min) valmennuskertaa sunnuntaisin klo 16.00-17.30 ajalla 6.9.- 11.10.2026. Jokaisen valmennuskerran jälkeen on puolen tunnin vapaaharjoittelu mahdollisuus.

Paikka: Tanssiseura Comets, sali 2, Mall of Tripla, Fredikanterassi 1, Helsinki.

Hinta: 79 € / henkilö

Ryhmään osallistumisen edellytyksenä on, että Cometsin jäsenmaksu 25 € on maksettu. Jäsenmaksu laskutetaan erikseen.

Ilmoittautuminen: Haku kilparyhmään on auki 1.6.-23.8.2026. Ryhmään valitut päätetään 24.8.2026.

Ilmoittautuminen on sitova ryhmään valituille.

Haun yhteydessä kysytään:

• kilpaparin nimi
• parin kilpailuluokka edellisessä Rock’n’Swing GP-kilpailussa
• lisätietoihin voi lisätä muita huomioitavia seikkoja, esimerkiksi kilpailumenestys ja yhteisen kilpauran pituus tai valmentajana toimiminen

Kilparyhmiin hakeneet parit laitetaan järjestykseen ensisijaisesti kilpailuluokan perusteella, koska se osoittaa objektiivisimmalla mahdollisella tavalla jo osoitetun sitoutumisen harjoitteluun ja kilpailemiseen. Kilpailuluokan sisällä parit laitetaan keskinäiseen järjestykseen vain mikäli järjestys on ilmeinen esimerkiksi toistuvien sijoitusten tai kilpauran pituuden perusteella, muuten parit ovat keskenään samalla sijalla.

Taitoluokkien vertailujärjestys:

• Yleinen A, Juniori 2B
• Yleinen B, Seniorit A
• Yleinen C, Seniorit B
• Yleinen D, Seniorit C
• Seniorit D (uudet parit aloittavat yleensä D luokassa)

Kilparyhmien tavoitekoko on 5-6 paria. Kilparyhmiin voidaan tapauskohtaisesti valita myös 7 paria. Mikäli ryhmään hakee tavoitemäärä pareja, valitaan kaikki hakeneet parit suoraan ryhmään. Muussa tapauksessa kilparyhmävälinnat tai päätöksen ryhmän perustamisesta tekee seuran hallitus. Lue lisää kilparyhmävalintakriteereistä.

Kurssin järjestäjän toimesta vahvistettu kurssipaikka on sitova, eikä sitä voi enää peruuttaa.

🇬🇧 COURSE DESCRIPTION

The competition groups are intended for dance couples who are interested in competing or are training with a goal in mind. The competition groups are small groups of 5-7 dance couples, where the dance couples receive personal feedback, as well as the opportunity to develop in a motivated company.

In the Fusku competition group, there is mainly joint guidance, in addition to which the couples also receive personal feedback.

You can apply for competition groups when you have at least the intermediate level dance skills of the dance. The group does not have partner rotation.

The language of the course is Finnish and summarized in English, if needed.

Instructors: Timo Huhtinen and Helena Metsä

Time: The course has 6 lessons (6 × 90 minutes) on Sundays from 4pm to 5:30 pm between September 6th to and October 11th, 2026. After each lesson there is an opportunity for half an hour free practice.

Location: Dance Club Comets, studio 2, Mall of Tripla, Fredikanterassi 1, Helsinki.

Price: 79 € / person

You also need to pay Comets membership fee 25 € if you haven’t paid it yet for the current calendar year. It will be sent to you as a separate invoice.

Registration:  The application period for competition group is open 1.6.-23.8.2026. Those selected for the group will be decided 24.8.2026.

Registration is binding for the confirmed spots in the group.

Questions related to the application:

• the dance partner's name
• the skill class in the last Rock'n'Swing GP competition
• other factor to be taken into account, competition success and length of competition career or working as a dance instructor

Couples who have applied to the competition groups are ranked primarily based on the competition skill class, as it shows as objectively as possible the already demonstrated commitment to training and competition. Within the competition, the couples are placed in mutual order, only the order is obvious due to repeated placements or the length of the competition career, otherwise the couples are in the same place.

Comparison order of skill classes:

• Main Class A, Junior 2B
• Main Class B, Seniors A
• Main Class C, Seniors B
• Main Class D, Seniors C
• Senior D (new competitors usually start at class D)

The target size of the competition groups is 5-6 couples. Seven couples can also be selected for the competition groups on a case-by-case basis. If the target number of couples apply for the group, all couples who apply will be selected directly into the group.
